Luftgekühlt® / Air-Cooled Soul
Where to begin? Exactly what I asked myself the moment I walked through the security gates to enter my first Luft show. I’ve been wanting to attend for some time now, and this year, 2022, it finally happened! My first ever Luftgekühlt® show. I had no idea about the scale of this event. Held in San Pedro California at the Brouwerij West, Porsches of all types were parked in and around the entire venue.
Luft was not like any other car show I’ve been to in the past. It’s more of an experience. The atmosphere was filled with friends, families, dogs, and Porsches. Overwhelmed at first with how many cars there were, I had to take a second to control my excitement to figure out how I would like to document my experience. I brought with me my Leica M10 with the 35mm f1.4 and the 75mm F1.5 Voigtländer lenses. I also had my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone ready on standby for some aerials.
