Apple Pies & a Leica M10

One of my favorite desserts is apple pie. Out of the different types of apple pies, Dutch crumble is by far the tastiest. When I learned of the mining town of Julian which is known for apple pies I had to visit.

Located about 60 miles northeast of San Diego, this little mountain town has some of the most delicious apple pies one could eat. In my opinion in this order my favorite pies (not pictured) were, Boysenberry Apple Crumb, Peach Apple Crumb, Dutch Apple Crumb, and a Blueberry pie.

My wife and I stayed at guest house up in the mountains about 20 minutes away from the main part of the town. The views were breath taking. I will definitely be back. Whenever I go on a trip I always have a camera with me, rather that’s film or digital. For this trip I brought both. My Leica M4-P and the Leica M10. Below you’ll see moments captured with the M10.
